Accessible accommodations in Skellefteå

We want to help you find an accommodation that suits your needs, and therefore we've gathered information about how our members have adapted their facilities for different accessibility needs. Perhaps you use a walking frame and need step-free access. Maybe you use a motorized wheelchair and require a carer to assist in movements and a hoist is on your list of "must haves". Aurum Hotel

All rooms are accessible via elevator, and the elevator buttons have Braille. The conference room have a hearing loop. Options are offered for the most common allergies at breakfast, and the kitchen staff can help with additional requests if needed.

We can offer accommodations and service units adapted for guests who are visually impaired, wheelchair bound and allergic. We have a long jetty at the beach and wheelchair accessible toilets in all of our public facilities.

Medlefors

We have accessibility-adapted lifts to reach the hotel, conference rooms and restaurant. There are very good possibilities to be transported directly to the main entrance, asphalted outdoor surfaces, and handicap parking 2 meters from the main entrance. Automatic door openers are available at the main entrance as well as door openers at other entrance doors. We have accessible toilets in our facilities, and in some of the hotel rooms. We also have accessible showers, and no thresholds to the rooms. We have adapted buffet tables for wheelchair users. In the reception there are walking stick holders, and we also have beacons.

We have accommodations and bathrooms adapted for wheelchair users. We have ramps to the entrances, a speaker system, special rooms for dogs and can offer different options for allergies.

Scandic Skellefteå

• We have hosts who can help guests with disabilities.

We have ramps where needed, and accessible bathrooms. Wheelchair is available to borrow in the reception, and we can offer alarm clocks with vibration for those hard on hearing. Braille is available in the elevators and outside the hotel rooms. There are sounds in the elevator indicating where you are. The breakfast has an allergy station, and adapted meals for the whole day. We have one floor that is a certified allergy floor.

Since we have many participants on our courses, almost all premises are accessible. We have elevators, accessible toilets and more. We make individual adaptions for each student with disabilities.
