Parking spaces in Skellefteå

Where are the parking spaces and how much does it cost to park? These are questions that we often get via social media or at the Tourist Center. Here we have gathered useful information that we think you need most.

In central Skellefteå, there are about 2200 parking spaces owned and maintained by the municipality of Skellefteå. More than 600 of these are places in parking garages. In Skellefteå there are also a number of car parks not owned or managed by the municipality.

A rate of SEK 15 for 2 hours applies to most of Skellefteå municipality's parking spaces in the city centre. The easiest way to pay is through the Skepark app. Many vending machines also accept bank cards, and a few take cash.

Aimo park has central car parks with its own rates, that can be paid for via bank card or the mobile app Mobilpark. For those staying longer in Skellefteå, it is possible to purchase a digital ticket, which only applies to the municipality's parking spaces.
