The viewing ramp at Bjuröklubb lighthouse

Lövånger, Skellefteå

The 225 meter long wooden ramp takes you to the top of "krönta klippan", 47 meters above sea level, where Bjuröklubb's lighthouse is located. The magnificent view extends far into the horizon and creates memories that will last for a long time after your visit.

The ramp makes it easy to hike up, or roll up with a wheelchair or walker to look out over the open sea and feel the fresh sea breeze.

During the summer of 2003, the first part of the lookout ramp could be completed, this through financing of, among other things, EU funds provided by Skellefteå Municipality. The lookout ramp in its current design, was inaugurated in the summer of 2006. Then with an extension, which made it now possible for everyone to enjoy the view also north of the lighthouse.

The construction of the viewing ramp has made Bjurklubb Lighthouse the most accessible lighthouse in all of Sweden.

At the beginning of the viewing ramp, you will find Café Fyren, open during the summer, which offers a range of simple lunch dishes, sandwiches and coffee. Two well-kept toilets are adjacent to the café.
