On 12 May, there will be a Sami seniors' day at Seniortorg Nordanå.
Come along to an afternoon of talks on our culture and traditions, as well as the plans for elderly care as a Sami administrative area. We want to hear your expectations and wishes, and get you involved in strengthening and preserving the Sami culture for Skellefteå's seniors.
Therese Hellqvist from Skellefteå Museum will come and talk about Skellefteå as a natural place in Sápmi from a historical perspective.
The Skellefteå Sami Association will also be there, talking about their activities.
You can buy vuosta/coffee cheese and gahkku/Sami bread at cost price.
The day is organised by the Skellefteå Sami Association, Skellefteå Museum and Skellefteå Municipality.
